RECTOR'S DAY CELEBRATIONS
AT ST. PETER'S COLLEGE, COLOMBO 04

On the 9th of November, 2017 the Rector's Day, celebrations at St. Peter's College, Colombo 04 was held at a grand scale. The celebrations commenced with the Thanks Giving Holy Mass where the entire Peterite Family thanked God Our Loving Father for the gift of Rev. Fr. Trevor Gerard Martin as Rector of St. Peter's College, Colombo 04. Rev. Fr. Mano Kumar, the Vicar General for Tamil Apostolate in the Archdiocese and the Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Church Wellawatte delivered the Homily. The Holy Mass was dedicated to St. Martin of Tours, the Patron Saint of Rev. Fr. Trevor Gerard Martin, the Rector of St. Peter's College, Colombo 04.
The Holy Mass was followed by a very special Felicitation Assembly where the entire Peterite Family, expressed their affection, admiration, appreciation and gratitude to Rev. Fr. Trevor Gerard Martin the Rector of St. Peter's College Colombo 04. Representatives from each section of the school; the Student Body, the Tutorial Staff and the Non - Academic Staff in keeping with our culture and tradition offered Betel Sheaves and paid homage to the illustrious and renown educationist Rev. Fr. Trevor Gerard Martin the Rector of St. Peter's College, Colombo 04 for the yeomen service he has rendered to the field of education in Sri Lanka
After the assembly the Student Body were treated with ice cream and the Tutorial Staff & the Non Academic Staff were treated to a Festive Lunch as a generous gift from Rev. Fr. Trevor Gerard Martin the Rector of St. Peter's College, Colombo 04.
Mr. Asela Lihinikaduwa, the President of the OBU, Mr. Ravika De Silva the General Secretary of the OBU and Vice President of the PTA, Mr. Christopher Buultjens the President of the Welfare Society and Mr. Shilby Ameer the Secretary of Welfare Society participated in the entire day's proceedings.
